Our Producers

At Tea Huset, every tea and every chawan (matcha tea bowl) has a story. We work closely with dedicated award winning tea producers and skilled ceramic artists who share our commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability, and honest flavor. In this section, we introduce the people behind the leaves and the ceramics. The farmers who cultivate exceptional teas with care for their land, and the makers who shape the teaware that brings each infusion to life.

We believe in honoring each maker’s identity: we do not white-label our teas or ceramics. Every piece is offered under the producer’s own name, so their knowledge, traditions, and creativity remain visible and at the heart of everything we serve.

Tea producers

Our teas come from award-winning producers in Japan who are deeply rooted in their regions and traditions. The producers and tea masters we work with have received national recognition for their craftsmanship, reflecting years of dedication to the land and to the art of tea.

We partner directly with these producers to source teas that express their unique approach. Just as with our ceramics, we present each tea under the producer’s own name. By doing so, we aim to honor their work transparently and to connect you more closely to the people and places behind every cup.

Ceramic artists

For our chawans, we choose to collaborate with local ceramic artists in Copenagen and Zurich. Sourcing locally reflects both the spirit of the tea ceremony and our commitment to sustainability, allowing us to support local artists while being environmentally friendly.
